I'm here, and Sailor Neptune. A friend of Usagi-chan's from school is also here. [And two of the shitennou, which she doesn't quite want to bring up, but...]

Also, when we defeated the Dark Kingdom, the prince's guardians returned to normal. Two of them are here, from after the Dark Kingdom. We've been trying to work together.

[Minako listens attentively as Ami answers her question.] The Dark Kingdom.. [Like the "Dark" agency. That must be the greater enemy that Artemis mentioned.]

No way! You mean they switched sides? [Her memories of the Silver Millennium hadn't completely returned yet. The Prince.. sounded vaguely familiar.. maybe. ]

That's right. In the past, we were all on the same side: protecting Earth. They forgot that under Beryl, but these two came from after that.

[Nods and voices her affirmation. She's about to add something when a passel of shadowy forms rise up around them. Minako tenses and looks over her shoulder towards some of the heartless.]

[Ami doesn't even bat an eye.] Mercury Crystal Power, Make-Up! [The energy of her transformation swirls around her, and Sailor Mercury takes her place.]

[Holding her pen into the air she shouts]

Moon Power, Transform!

[Soon enough Sailor V is standing before the heartless, and she's got a speech at the ready]

Didn't anyone tell you it's rude to interrupt a conversation? Especially when it's between two young girls!

For that, I, Sailor Venus won't forgive you!

[Mercury adds no speech, only the unmistakable threat of her introduction.]

Senshi of Water and Wisdom, Sailor Mercury! Douse yourself in water, and repent!

[She doesn't wait to act. She reaches into the air and an ethereal harp shimmers into her hand. She plays a watery glissando.]

Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!

[It's difficult trying not to split her attention between the other soldier and the heartless. Ami's attack is so fluid and beautiful in it's own way.. it also lays waste to a good portion of those shadowy creatures. More heartless arise out of the ground and one leaps toward Ami..]

Watch out!

[She shouted as she launched herself toward the heartless]

Sailor V Kick!

[Minako strikes her leg out in a powerful arc.... but the heartless only shifts it's shape and avoids the attack, slipping back into the ground]

Eh?! [The retreat perplexed her.] I should have hit the thing... [Now wasn't this slightly embarrassing. She hadn't quite figured out that physical attacks didn't really work on the creatures] How many of these things, are there?

[She should have warned Venus; but there hadn't been time.]

Sailor Venus! Use your powers; the kick won't help, here!

[As for how many... she can't be the one to say they're endless.]

[She nodded, glancing briefly to the other girl. ]

Let's attack them at the same time. [If one attack hadn't finished them off, perhaps two synchronized attacks would have better luck. She raised the crescent compact into the air.]

These can't be defeated yet, only driven off. We need to coordinate our efforts to bring them away from the people. They'll leave behind munny; we'll need that.
