[She is inclined to believe Ami but she has to get passed the initial shock]

It's alright. We're together again now and you're safe. I'll try to explain everything.

[Then it starts to sink in more what Ami had said about the others. So.. aside from Setsuna, and Michiru... there were no other senshi here. The Outers tended to keep more to themselves.. if the same was true here then Ami might be in serious need of companionship]

Sure, I'd like that but.. are you getting hungry?

I'm sure there will be plenty of time to explain but first we should get something to eat. Do you know if there's a good market here? I can fix whatever you like.

[Mako's food isn't a lure just for Usagi. Ami brightens.]

It sounds delicious. I know the way to the market, so shall we go?

[Makoto's relieved to see the other girl's mood lighten. She nods readily.]

[It's a good distraction at least. She heads towards the main shops, pointing out important buildings or sites along the way. It'll help Makoto learn her way around, and it lets her sort out her thoughts as they walk.]

And just ahead now is the marketplace.

[She pays attention to what her friend has to say.]

I hope the ingredients here are at least equivalent to the ones back home.

[She rolls up her sleeves and takes to inspecting the merchandise]

[At least, being Ami, 'involved' only means she's admitted she'd like to take it slow and give it a chance, for now.]

Mako-chan always surpasses those expectations, doesn't she?

[She smiled and briefly stuck her tongue out]

[But it was evident with her playful gesture that Makoto appreciated the sentiment.]

Hey! This fruit looks pretty good. [Getting distracted by the food she looked back toward the cart laden with items] Maybe we could have some tarts made from these later.

That sounds delicious, but we can't only think of dessert. I'll buy you a cookbook of local recipes, if you want to try them.

[Makoto dug through her pockets for some yen]

I might have enough to buy it-- say what do they use for currency around here?

It's called munny. It's used in each of the worlds that exist here.

[Makoto's expression fell and she tilted her head to the side]

I retract my last statement.

[Knowing full well that she didn't have any money. Then an idea popped to mind that reinvigorated her.]

We just need to go to the back or the exchange counter right?

I have some with me. I'll put you to work helping us earn more later. [Ami gives a quick wink to tell she's teasing - though she does assume Jupiter will take up the role of a protector of these worlds, fighting the heartless again, which will bring in munny.]

[Smiles at the other girl]

[That's a good assumption to make. Her sense of justice remains in tact, and she wouldn't want to leave innocents unprotected]

Please don't worry about it. [This is said more sincerely; being from a wealthy family back home may not mean anything here, but she still isn't going to quibble with a friend over money.]

[Ami was so down to Earth that you wouldn't really think of her as being a rich kid, even though she was in their world. Looking down at the items she'd already collected]

Hey! I think we have enough to make a full meal now.
