Ciel is odd. Ven only truly hates one person ever (Vanitas), so he doesn't hate Ciel, not by a longshot. But he's honestly not sure what to do about him. Ciel doesn't seem evil, but the few interactions Ven has had with him or seen on the network make him seem very self-absorbed and absolutely uncaring of what happens to others, with a few exceptions, and that's so opposite to what Ven is that he doesn't know how to deal with it. It could change, and Ven would always come help him if he needed help and he could get there, but at the moment Ciel is one of the people he isn't thinking of as a potential friend.
