Oh, geez. Oh, geez. Where to start. Ami is really nervous about what Ciel's pushed her into saying, and it makes her feel a bit on eggshells around him right now, and overly protective as her friends arrive. On the other hand, he's done nothing wrong, only pushy. She's aware of that and is trying to give it a chance to blow over. It's better than making a scene and keeping things going, after all.

She does sort of admire that same boldness. She's always had a hard time being blunt herself, even when she should be. And she definitely feels for a kid who had to essentially raise himself and became mature at such a young age. Different circumstances, but similar to her own raising herself with mama always busy.
